Charles You

Charles is the founding director of CTBH Advisory. After practicing law at a Tier 1 global law firm for almost 10 years and building a reputation among Chinese investors in Africa, he decided to start a consulting firm offering legal and advisory services to companies doing business in South Africa.

Focusing on commercial and corporate law, he can draw on years of experience working in different areas of legal practice, servicing clients from different sectors, including telecommunication, real estate, technology, and mining.

Some of his recent experience:

• Representing Sinovel Wind Group Company Limited in various commercial disputes with its South Africa partner in relation to two wind farms in South Africa.
• Assisting China Communications Construction Corporation in its proposed cross-border PPP project.
• Offering end-to-end legal advice to Oppo, XH Smart Technology, Bester Telecommunications, and other multinational corporations with business operations in South Africa.
